Very near Matagalpa lies the nature reserve El Arenal, a cloud forest rich in biodiversity and home to colorful birds that are among the most beautiful and special in America.
We will walk around the Reserve, which is home to over 200 species of birds, including the legendary Resplendent Quetzal and the Three-wattled Bellbird, the bushy crested jay, and many more.
